Bella Sera, a premier event and catering destination in Western PA, is seeking a Long Term individual to oversee the overall facility and operations therein.
Specifically, this leader will manage
Front of house operations (total customer experience)
Back of the house (culinary)
Vendors and catering/venue sales
Team Leads in Each Department
He/she will also be responsible for creating and managing the budget related to above responsibilities and will have overall accountability for the P&L.
|Duties:||Responsibilites include, but are not limited to:|
Provide overall planning, direction/control of all parts of the business
Develop & Enforce Policies & Procedures according to regulatory compliance
All food and Equipment Inventory
Establish and maintain effective vendor relations
Identify Customer Needs
Determine Staffing Needs and Hire and Develop accordingly
Promote good employee relations
Works with Team Leads for Each Revenue stream to develop bugets, menus, staffing & marketing campaign & overall Goals for the department (Events Coordinator, Head Chef, Catering Sales Coordinator, etc.)
Researches new products and develops an analysis of the cost/profit benefits
Possess prior experience in managing upscale restaurants, hotels, country clubs, catering or venues. Able to provide leadership for all aspects of the facility including day to day operations, short & long term planning, budgeting, maintenance, in-house and contracted services as well as policy administration.
Ability to embrace, systematize, project and oversee the vision, culture and overall Bella Sera brand experience and furthermore define the flagship of Jason Capps future vision.
Experience, confidence and passion for extending his or her track record of running a successful facility under a proven corporate system and replicating and enhancing the best practices in order to take Bella Sera to the next level.
Possess organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required and work history.
Working knowledge of strategic planning and tactical delivery skills as well as the facility equipment necessary to perform the duties of the job.
Able to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure as well as work most nights/weekends.
Drivers license Must maintain a current valid drivers license if required.
Driving record Must maintain a good driving record if required to drive.
BA/BS in Business or Hotel/Restaurant Management, Food/Beverage or Facility Management and/or Culinary Arts
At least five (5) years of progressive leadership experience in management, facility operations and special event operations
